Several of us from NYTVRCC have just got back from a run up to and round the Highlands. We also do LM every year.

So thoughts are turning to where else we could go. The requirements being good roads, not to far as we are talking a long weekend jaunt, good countryside to see bluring past the windows, good accomodation food and drink at the end of the day.

Initial thoughts are turning to the Isle of Man and Eire.

Anyone been and done either? Or any other suggestions?

me and a mate went up to the highlands from down here near swindon,we had a great time even tho it rained all the time, the roads and country side were amazing, and the lack of other cars on the road was great.Im after going to the evo triangle but need some people to show me the ropes up there.

Which part/s of wales?

Will I need shots or a passport and armed guards?

If someone could explain to me how to post shots on here happy to do so, sadly every time I've tried I've failed miserably!

The Evo Triangle, the Black Mountains (as seen on Top Gear), the Brecon Beacons and the roads around Bala and Snowdonia are awesome.

As for the photos, it might be easier uploading them to a website like flickr/photobox/photobucket etc and posting the link.

You see what you did there? You assumed that I understand technology! I don't, unless its proper technology, with valves and tappets.

If you do LM anyway, why not tag on a couple of days and do the Loire valley.
