hey all, just thought i would share my cars with you all.not quite exotica but they put huge smiles on my face.I am a back road blaster, love corners.

My pride and joy for the last 3 years and currently being restored is my 1990 Alfa 33 P4,for those who dont know they run a 1.7 16v boxer engine on throttle bodies as standard.it sounds sublime and at 130hp and just under 900kgs its nippy but the handling is amazing, very alfa. Now i have been told by various people how many of these P4's were made but not really sure of the number, but it has been rumoured that there are only 20 33's(not just the P4)regitered to the dvla.if anyone can enlighten me that would be great.

Now i was not prepared for how hard it is to get parts for these cars (especially the P4)so I have spent my years scouring ebay for bits and stripped bought and stripped to other 33's so i can stash spare for the future.both my parents house are chocca with 33 bits lol.As you all know alfa of this period were rusty as hell and this one was no exception although it did live for ten year in south of france so was better than most.

Always been tempted to drop an impreza engine in,but due to rarity decided against it.Have done most of the work myself so far with the help of some mates, apart from the koni front inserts which cost a staggering £600 as the shocks needed machining to fit.plan is to find someone to respray it,either store it and watch it go up in value,or sell it as soon as its done as have seen an estate go on here for £3,500.seems tempting considering i got her for £900

Mods:
Interior
.recaro front seats

.3 point willans harness
Exterior
.Original cloverleaf bobykit
.set of five spoke 16" speedlines(have reciept when bought with car when new)
.Set of 13" five spoke zender wheels
Engine
.K&N induction kit
.performance HT leads and platinum plugs
.longlife stainless exhaust system
Transmission
.viscous couipling 4wd,similar to integrale
.Ex rally car Phantom LSD on rear
.Ex rally car corner weighted springs and koni shox on rear
.Konis inserted into front shox and spax springs
.Black diamond sics and pads all round
think thats it,if anyone can tell me how many there are left would be great,or how to find out.if a 1.5 estate can sell for £3500 surely i could put this up for a grand more when finished.thanks for looking

basically that induction box with alfa romeo on it feeds both pairs of TB's either side of the flat four.they are linked together using a bar in the throttle setup.i was reliably informed that with a remappable ecu and no intake can run 165HP.The TB's combine with the boxer burble sounds awesome,i miss it as its not running at the moment.try and find a few more pics hang on:
this is off one i broke with airintake removed.

these are the standard dellorto TB's

haha yea mate,i live in malmesbury.im sure you would have seen her around in the past.she has been off the road for a year now, want it back on the road so bad, just got no money lol.what do you drive?
I work in Tetbury an have a place just outside the town centre. I can recall seeing your car around town a few times, on one occassion you were heading off toward the a46 down the hill over the bridge out of Tetbury and it sounded fantastic (now I know what engine is in it I know why!). Sure i've seen it at Castle Coombe as well.I drive a selection of mk2 golfs and have a yellow corrado at the minute.

yea had it at combe twice in the wet.managed to go sideway all the way around quarry but just lost it at the end lol. Before i had the stainless on it, i put a side exit on it just with back box, that was too loud and flames licked up the side of the car.im temoting myself to take out a loan just to get her sorted.never seen a yello raddo round tetbury.i will keep you up to date on current cars so you can beep or wave if you see me.my dad lives up northfield road just behind tesco.
if im honest, the rust is true.but apart from that i drove her for a good year and a half and not lightly with no problems at all. They are pure drivers car, handle great and make you feel in control.id have another alfa, maybe 75V6 or a 155 widebody.V6 and Flat fours sound great in tunnels
im afraid the larger 1.7 boxer is very close to each side.changing spark plugs is a mission and involves a speciel tool.and any headwork involves engine out.puts its pritty simple to take out.Gearbox is a RWD unit so when its all out together it looks like the fighters out of star wars lol
