Just £4,600 for a Mk 3 at Autoquake.

Now I know its not the most popular varient, but that bloody cheap whichever way you look at it.

If I wasn't already laden with a Boxster I trying to sell to make way for a baby, I'd be sorely tempted.

Crikey, nearly 100,000 miles!! Good going.

No air con mind, despite what the ad says.

Prob about right price really...

In summer, to cool car turn air to cold, drop roof and open both windows fully. In winter, to de-mist windscreen turn air to hot directed to windscreen, drop roof and open both windows fully.

Nah, I'd still like A/C.. Hot, hot days roof off still gets you hot where as A/C pointed at you would be lovely.

Bloody cheap, Intergallactic miles for one of these though, none of our MK3s at work have done this amount.. About 75k is the most so far.

If the roof and windows are down and you're still hot you aren't driving fast enough wink

That's chep as chips that is, shame it's the 1.8. There's a Mk3 gone over 100k on mx5forum.com and it's cost him nothing in bills, still on original disks and only second set of pads. Nothing else has ever gone wrong. Remarkable.

I can confirm that on versions fitted with climate control it works amazingly well at keeping you cool on mega hot days with the roof down. wink You still get burnt to a crisp mind but it's worth it!

My MKii doesn't have aircon and it would definitely be nice.
Black car parked outside in the summer gets baking hot, then I turn out of the office straight into a traffic jam, aircon would be bliss.

No ac in the Chim, but nobody can deny the heat is uncomfortable when stuck in traffic on a hot day, with the roof down.

A hot day? Ahh, memories....

That is a bargain but don't forget to add on the admin fee. 100k in a MX-5 is nothing.

There's a cheap roadster-coupe too:

A 1.8 as well, 80k miles, a year younger, £6675.

Swapped my MX5 for another one with A/C after roasting in it whilst stuck in traffic once too often. Never underestimate the ability to control your environment.
