Seems like top dollar to me. It would have to be very good - although if you bought a wreck it would cost you £5k plus another £15k to rebuild properly. Pays your money....

Dont fully agree with either of your figures Steve but assuming they are right a £20,000 car for £17000 can,t be top money

It would need to be complete and have the provenance to go with it.

That about says it all ..1970, 14 thousand odd miles and the 80's sunshine roof....and IMHO opinion, far from complete for the money.

Chassis is, anyone know why you would paint a car tangerine and the chassis yellow. Had some paint left over? Apologies to anyone with a yellow chassis, just dont think they look good with yellow.

Also the spare wheel is missing by the looks of the picture of the interior.

to be fair it looks a nice car but there is a list of things wrong with it, one of them dangerous and thats just from looking at the pics. All could be put right but that roof and chassis would drive me mad personally

Looks like a nice car. I wouid agree on the yellow chassis.

I admit I prefer to go with the standard Balck chassis then maybe silver paintwork and bulls blood red leather interior.......

Agree with all above! (Also missing wheel centres, interior door trim, heater blower.....) but, to answer the original question "Should I buy a Vixen?" I'd say 'yes', as a classic car, parts are reasonably easy to get and not expensive (for the most part), they are simple to work on, handle pretty well, and aren't over inflated in price. Also there is an active on-line owners group who are always keen to offer help and advice biggrin
