I've just bought one of these to donate its engine to a kitcar; is there a recommended way of whipping it out? Engine only, or engine with gearbox? I'll be getting a haynes book of lies, but I'm impatient to get started.

Yup - if you want it off quick the easiest way will be to chop the steel off the front of the car.

Thats all they do at the salvage yards, through pipes everything the quicker it's out the better!

Peel the gaffer tape off the front bumper and the front will just fall off..
