A cursory glance at the classifieds on here would suggest circa £9k.

Nice cars, quite swift.

Test it on rough roads though. I found the ride to be very, very crashy, especially on the M spec suspension. Would be lovely on smooth autobahns but find them very hard for most UK roads (esp in Yorkshire)

Hm.. if an offer is too good to be true then...

.. seriously, people normally over value cars, not undervalue. If you fancy a punt then ensure HPI etc is ok.

Even given a dealer premium, that 5k is low... £14k for a 2005 model from a BMW dealer.

Turbo, autobox and I believe inlet manifold (swirl flaps) need to be checked, but if those are good, a bargain.

Why would anyone sell a car for £5k that they could otherwise drive to the nearest used car dealer, and instantly get a cheque north of £7k?
