How long does it take to remove a report abuse post-i have messeged Mods twice and it has been over 24hrs.

I suspect that 24 hours having passed without it being removed suggests that the mods may not agree with your opinion that the post should be removed. Perhaps you would like to link to it?

I really hope not, and suspect not. Someone who replies in the manner of the OP in that thread should have the necessary behind them to suck up all but the most abusive of posts aimed at them.

The post they have reported must have been pretty bad to upset their sensibilities.

I haven't sworn at anyone - and i don't want to get in a swearing match with anyone - but if the Mods are happy to let abuse continue -then it won't be helpful to anyone.
And why haven't Mods informed me?

The last poster- although the swear has been removed now - but there is no edit showing .
I apprecaite i haven't helped my cause but it was the culmination of Moz FF peeing me off and i was typing with urgency and made myself brusque and unappreciative.

Not all reports require any action, the mods will discuss, decide and action as they see fit.

Even though you may have requested removal in your report, that may not be the action that the mods decide is relevant.

From what I can see the only intervention needed was to censor out the swear word out, that appears to have been undertaken.

No need to leave a trail as it edited in animod mode.

You will not by routine receive any feedback as to what action has/hasn't been undertaken we do not have the time or resources.
