Hi Guys, I have built a 911,996,carrera 4 tiptronic rally car, why? I broke my leg last year and it still gives me problems and I had a damaged car sat in the workshop so the project was started

3.4 engine running mild chip, filter etc
modified exhaust
full custom cage
Cobra seats
Bilstein coil overs, modified from standard struts for longer travel.
Modified paddle shift using a Mazerati system
Car is to be used for tarmac rallies, hillclimbs and trackdays etc
currently my weekend sunday cruiser

Small world.

Not sure if you remember talking to a bloke and his wife with their dog who were in front of you in the queue for the Eurotunnel Shuttle in a silver mondeo estate when you were going to Le Mans?

Anyway, if you do, that was me. The car looked great then and still does.

I plan to just use the car as time permits, its not the fastest car by a long way just a bit different. I have an ex ford rally team freelander which I am preparing for the Wyedean rally which is eating up the bank balance so the porker is hiding in the garage although I plan to take her out on the weekend if the heavens dont open.

Good man! It's always nice to see a 996 in speed yellow as they all seem to be in metallics. Is that a GT2/3 front bumper I spy?

Hi, it has a mk1 gt3 bumper with extra cooling slots in the top and a gt3 cup spoiler on the back.Car was originally blue but was stripped to a bare shell and resprayed yellow although not a genuine porsche colour it was what we had in the paintshop at the time.
