I saw this and, hard as it is to believe, the Merc F1 Truck and truckies are Stobart employed drivers. Whats more they made a bit of a hash of loading the F1 car, catching something underneath while they did so and even had problems getting the truck on the eurotunnel shuttle. (admittedly, its always looks a tight fit on these things). Considering how often they must load during a season, they should be well practised.
I always thought truckies were team personel who also had other rolls during a race weekend. Seems in this case it is contracted out to Stobart.

Yup, quite interesting and did make a bit of a hash of things.

Great job none the less.

I used the same garage in Guildford to get my Merc Sprinter (White biggrin ) serviced as Mclaren used for their liveried tractor units. I was based in Sunbury on Thames and the garage in Guildford was the nearest one that could get my vehicle in the workshop.
Never saw the program over here tho frown

They probably have to get other guys in to deal with the working hours directives for drivers
