Has anybody fitted Led or Hid front side lights, have looked at a few web sites which show differant setups, some lights have to have transformers others are just a bulbs.
I am currently running 12000k Hid headlights which are very blue and would like some side lights to match them,
Have tried no end of standard bulbs, ice white, ice blue, blue ect ect but they look a bit naff against the Hid headlights
Appreciate any help on this form someone who has fitted Led or Hid side lights
Thanks in Advance
Regards
Steve

I've got white led bulbs in my sidelights to go with the 6k HIDs in the dipped heads. The bulbs are like these.

EFA hehe

Snap out of it man! Ditch the chav lamps and get some 5-6000k lamps in. Then you might actually realise the benefit of having HIDs.

I wasn't going to say anything, but I have to agree with Dave (a first wink). Go to 6k and you may actually be able to see where you're going in the dark as well. smile

Gent's
I aint getting into any discussions on what you can and can't see with blue or white, all I know is I have 6000k on my my beemer and to me there exactly the same except them officer chaps that stand or sit at the side of the road with there flourecent jackets and stripes stand out far better with the 12000k than the 6k, plus I think they compliment the car colour as chavvy as they are lol.
Thanks for the advice will go for a set of bulbs (Basil)

I bought these from eBay and found them to have a nice white/blue colour - plus for £1.50 you can't exactly go wrong!

When I bought a HID kit from Autobulbs direct, there were matching sidelights advertised for the same colour as the HID's. Changed mine at the same time.
