I can hear what I think is a fuel pump running continuously when I switch on the ignition. normally it cuts out after a few seconds and its never heard again. The car runs fine , and this has only just started since I had a wiring loom replaced to No 6 injector.
Car is a tuscan 11 S
any pointers appreciated

Those are the difficult ones.
At first I would check the relay mounted at the fuse box. Maybe the contacts are sticked (welded) together during switching on/off.
Tap the relay to loosen the contacts when you turned ignition on. If this works buy yourself a new one (a relay I ment, not a car)

Good Luck
Ronald.

if its not the relay (brown one i think) welded itself together check the power from the ECU to the relay is switching off.i think its switched by time rather than preassure (might b wrong)
check the wiring thats been replaced
