At first I couldn't see a HUGE difference - I thought it was just a matt wrap - but looking at the other thread with more pics the job looks a lot better!

And looks EVEN better with the graphics on as well ... just all goes together somehow.

Nice job. Going to let on what it cost?

That looks very good, just a quick question where is the best place to buy a small amount of vinyl?

I want to wrap my wing mirrors matt black.

Thankyou, and again great work

cheers for the positives guys

the job took 3 days in total including a mini detail in prep

as far as buying small quantities of vinyl you'll prob find most companies will only deal to trade

i have some satin black in stock but i'd be a little wary of suggesting you have a go as mirrors can be tricky even for a pro

Is it the way the photo's have come out, or is the "weave" very rippled & wavy?

Nice work paul, top result and not the easiest shapes to do. I can't wait for a customer to walk in and ask for a full carbon wrap.

Got a matt black on at the moment though - the next best thing!

in answer to the question of distortion of the weave it doesn't ended up perfectly regimented that would be impossible to achieve

when applying sheet vinyl over a vehicles contours the weave will wander a little

to be fair though much less then actual carbon panels where the weave at times is totally haphazard

Looks great! not a big fan of wraps but the carbon fibre finish looks very good. We recently did some work on customers Porsche Panamera 4S which had the same wrap on the roof, the contrast with the white car was amazing.

eddie i wouldn't want to discuss cost on here fella - not sure if its allowed

topaz - i have a pic of a white gtr somewhere i worked on - the contrast as you say is pretty cool

mnep - opaque isn't recommended for textured vinyl as it will trap in the ridges and won't buff up properly

a little project for 2011 will see my evo v fully satin wrapped and treated with opaque on just half the car
