Peugeot 205 gti 1600 rear axle

Hi my little 205 have a very worn rear axle, it started banging and knokking and my meccanic tells me that the spares to repair them are not longer avaiable, apparantly you can get the bearings but not the two long sleeves were the bearings sit in, and I'm afraid there is no point putting new bearing in as it's all scored and grooved inside, I hope that someone can give me some advise.

I`ve had a few from these,they come ready to fit.

Search ebay for "rear bem trailing arm shaft". All the parts are still available.

The parts are available but unless you re-build it yourself it's going to be very expensive to fix. Easier and cheaper to get hold of a refurbished 205/309 beam and swap the whole lot over.
