So what do you guys use to monitor 0-60/0-100/qtr miles etc?

I've had a little play with Dynolicious on the Ipod and it comes out with some odd figures. It's calibrated and mounted securely to the A pillar with a proper Brodit pro-clip mount so it doesn't move at all. I seem to get some weird times and it's reporting a much higher top speed etc and some ridiculous peak BHP figure.

Going to go to the Pod at some point but it would be useful to get something working to practise technique etc.

Racelogic do something called a Driftbox that monitors all that kind of stuff. No idea whether it's any good or not though.

i tend to measure my 60-100mph increment. starting from second gear at about 40mph i then go through the gears. have it on video so i can check afterwards what time it took.

what i then do is go to the back of evo and try and find a similar time. if the cars a fwd N/A i try and find a similar car rather then say a 4wd with a turbo.

you can get a decent idea on bhp/tonne and even a quarter mile time. not the most accurate way of course but it's more fun then anything else.

Racelogic Vbox or similar is what you want.
