Living with cameras?

I dont know how you do it.

I spent a week in UK last month and drove many hundred miles. Saw many, many 'speed camera' signs everywhere but only 2 speed cameras (or are they hidden?)
Almost every time I saw these signs I have to confess that it was not clear what the limit actually was. ie hadnt seen a limit sign for ages and none visible ahead Kept wondering why the refered limit was not displayed on this speed camera sign too??

But this was not the reason for the post....

What suprised me was the number of CCTV cameras FFS!
Surely there cant be any crime in the UK with all these cameras?

CCTV cameras seem to outnumber speed cameras by 1000s to 1. Its enough to make you paranoid.....

CCTV cameras are a replacement for our police force who are busy in the police station filling out paperwork.

Except that like the scams - they do not put the CCTV where the crime actually takes place.

The do like to place CCTV near a scam - and when they see it attacked they are there in less than a flash!

Any other crime? HAH!
