I have a set of four 15 inch 48 spoke wire wheels which I am 95% certain are Grantura ones. They could do with a repaint but are serviceable. Anyone interested before I put them on fleabay?

I have a single 96 spoke one too but no idea what that is from

On this side of the Atlantic, vintage tire suppliers (Coker) are sometimes able to do this.

There seem to be some people about.
I'd guess you can even find instructions on how to DIY somewhere.
Also, check with motorcycle people. To many of them, that's routine.

Hmm gets me thinking - wonder how many spokes mine have (2 of them) look about 6J, in very good nick nothing paint stripper and spray smooth hamerite would not bring back!

Thats alot of spokes to count!

Maybe make into some Garage Art, or a Coffee table - two big wire wheels on top of each other with a round glass top! smile

Or use the HiPo 289 block ala Top Gear! smile
