Hi help please
My boy is renovating a series 2a he has it to its chassis, but having trouble removing the steering hub mounted to the chassis, the 2 long bolts on the top are removed also the cover plate underneath is it there anything else or is just a big hammer needed
Also where is the best place to get a new chassis as this one is not to good

Heard good things about these guys in terms of quality and accuracy, so likely to me the least hassle when fitting.

What's wrong with the one that you have though - fairly straightforward to replace outriggers and crossmembers while the body's off and would certainly be cheaper!

As above I’ve had two Richards Chassis under my 2 and couldn’t fault either of them. I’ve also put a marsland one under my old III, it need a bit more fettling before fitting but nothing major.

As for getting the relay out try it like this

but if you’re changing the chassis I’d suggest cutting it out as there a nightmare!

my puller gave up its a grinder job smash me thinks
due to the level of decay and repairs already carried out means its a new chassis required
