whatsitgotunderthabonnet,mister ?

no doubt some of the badge snobs will point you in the direction of barryboys as a more suitable home but it doesn't look barry to me - the rear spoiler round the screen is factory IIRC

I'd ditch the 17" BK wheels for some 16" Speedline Allessios, Otherwise not too bad. I always liked the Novas for some reason.

Not keen on the alloys, imho they're a bit big for the car, but each to their own smile Never seen one on an L reg before.

Good job, and for once the exhaust suits the car.. Should have left the factory like that really.

I quite like Nova's but not a fan of that one sorry, the wheels and the painted drum brakes ruin it.

Do you realise its still registered with the DVLA as having a 1389CC engine? The DVLA should be notified of any changes to engine number and cylinder capacity...

its not that funny- he's driving round uninsured!

people seem to think that insurance engineers (guys whose livelihood depends on knowing vehicles inside out) won't realise that a car has a completely different engine in it.

and you'll still be giggling when he smacks into your car and it turns out he's uninsured.

Exactly, do what you want to your car put a jet engine on the back for all I care but at least be legal.

DVLA won't be happy either- he's not paying enough tax, and has just posted the fact on a public forum...

Anyone else struggling to understand what's rare about a Nova with a different engine and some big wheels?

He's de-badged the rear removing the small vauxhall badge from the rear only to replace it with a FECKING HUGE sticker in the back window saying VAUXHALL rolleyes

I think there are only a handful of Nova's on a L registration.

I think he said its rare being on a L plate nothing to do with the wheels or engine. To OP i would remove stickers and wheels change to some 16" speedlines also will make the car handle lot better.

whoa guys, you totally misunderstood my rofl its intention was to mean that the op has been busted and im sure if he does not inform the dvla someone on here will. geez lighten up and think again before you make up your own meaning of something. i just laughed at the situation that has suddenly occurred for the op.
