Hi all

Can anyone point me in the direction of a UK based company that could supply a Turbo kit for a 1999 mk2 1.8? I can find loads in the USA but not a lot in the UK.

Cheers

Emailed them and got the message that they aren't doing them anymore. They are concentrating on their own suspension.

Anywhere else?

Oh, I thought he was still supplying but just not fitting... I guess I'm out of touch.

If you are fitting yourself, why not just order direct from the states?

Dunno any UK companies doing turbos. Try mx5nutz.com forced induction section though - they'll know.

If I can't find a supplier I will. Just rather deal with a UK supplier. I am watching TR Lane with interest to see if they do a full supercharger kit. Hopefully a good bit cheaper than Moss.

Well a little update.

FM turbo kit will cost $420 in carriage plus 2.2% import duty plus VAT. So by the time I have added an exhaust suitable for the Turbo set up it's looking a bit expensive.

$3345 - Voodoo II with the intercooler.
$305 - Centre exhaust section.
$378 - Back box.
$420 - Carriage.
$4,430 Sub Total.

£2750 - Conversion.
£60 - 2.2%Tax.
£492 - VAT @17.5%

£3302 - Total.

That's without all the other bits that undoubtedly will be needed. IE new clutch, plugs etc etc.

Anyone got a 2nd hand supercharger kit for sale at reasonable money?

That is less than I paid for my FM2 nearly 7 years ago.

If cost is a concern buy one that is already 'charged.

Brodie Brittain Racing, their development centre is next to what was the Honda F1 team headquaters, i think Brawn GP use the Honda HQ now, just off A34 at Brackley, they do a kit, they also did the original kits for Mazda UK 20 years ago.

I nearly bought a whole car with a turbo kit for not much more than that on ebay. Now re-listed.
