Search the forums but can't find any reference really to the C5 Touring, which is probably telling in itself. But just wondered if these are any good.

Found a nice one for less than £9k and actually getting tempted...

Cheers.

Good build quality, brilliant ride quality, good value for money and well equipped. Less ubiquitous than its German counterparts too. What's not to like?

Recent Whatcar magazine had the C5 being fairly reliable & certainly nothing as bad as the usual Citroen Reputation suggests.

I looked at the saloon long & hard several months ago (asking on here as well). You will struggle to find a better built, more comfy shed for the money. They are by no means the quickest of cars but for travelling in comfort, seating 5 people & their luggage comfortably you won't be able to beat them! smile

They are BIG though!

I dont know about the new style ones, but the old ones were catastrophically unreliable, though a very comfy drive.

I also guess loads of people will say otherwise, but that was my experience of them.

The new style ones must surely suffer as a consequence, image wise.

Citroen C5 was 59th out of 110 cars in JD power Survery, not great but only a couple of % behind the Passat.

Citroen overall, 11th out of 32 manufacturers! smile
