2002 VW Passat autobox problem
Discussion
This is second hand information from my mother so apologies for any missing detail.
She is driving the car as usual and has noticed that when she puts her foot down and the box kicks down it is not subsequently changing up so is staying in the lower gear.
Putting the box manually into 4th solves the problem.
Any suggestions, I guess it is a sensor problem rather than anything particularly nasty. As I said the info is second hand so if there is anything else I should ask to aid diagnosis please let me know.
Cheers
Ben
