Bought the BluRay boxed set earlier. Addicted already. I don't have Sky so hadn't seen anything other than the first episode previously (which they showed on a freeview weekend).

Massive fan of Band of Brothers, this picks up the theme and style perfectly. Fantastic stuff.

Same. I had such high hopes, maybe that's why. Don't get me wrong, it was still good, just not BoB good.

Talking of which I am sure i've seen B.O.B box set for £20.00. Is that about the going rate as I keep meaning to buy it.

I didn't watch The Pacific either, just couldn't get into it.

Oh dear. Much pissing on chips. I'll reserve judgement until I've finished the series. So far so good, but I'm a bit of a BoB we, going so far as to visit some of the places from the series.

It will take a week to get delivered, then you will still have to go out in the cold, on a saturday morning to your local post office delivery centre due to play sending the item in a box big enough for a sofa.

I wont use play again!

Anyway.

Band of Brothers = Excellect
The Pacific = Couldn't get into it, gave up after 3 episodes.

This.

Lost interest when they were all in Oz and the "romance" etc.

You do realise that all the places were the same set in England? smile

They used the same created village and just put a new front on the buildings!
