He still reminds me of the Partridge and we're only 3 mins in. Good though so far.

Seems promising, it's got an improvised/'Curb Your Enthusiasm' feel about it.

Rather enjoying this, it feels like an Alan Partridge "in real time" sort of thing, especially the bit with his agent.

I also enjoyed that, it had a very natural feel about it.

Not usually the type of programme that I watch - glad I did though.

Terrific stuff.. love the interplay between the two of them. I wonder how "true to life" their personas really are?

Strange concept for a 'comedy' show - but I really enjoyed the first episode.

That Michael Caine bit was fantastic biggrin

A very nice half hour spent, odd concept for a series but it works.

The Michael Caine bit was rather good, but the reast of it was aimless and slow.

I was rather disappointed, and eventually turned over to another channel. frown

I'm not sure if he'll ever top Partridge.

I really enjoyed this.

Does anyone else remember the appearance they made on the Chris Moyles show when they were promoting Cock and Bull Story -4/5 years back?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOc_ZbrEvXs

The impression 'jousting' during 'The Trip' had a similar feel -as if this is something they've been thinking about for a while.

Should add that the youtube clip shows just how talentless Moyles and his cronies are in comparison.

Yup! Great show. Has an easy pace, with just the right amount of chemistry between the two - love it!

Caught the rerun of ep.1 Sunday brilliant, Michael Caine and al Pacino. So was looking forward to ep.2 maybe not quite up there, but enjoyed snot. It's a strange where does they stop and the acting begin feel. Not always laugh out loud funny but has a feel that it's working on different levels, coogan playing up to and off his not always positive public persona, and there is just a hint of a competition going on. I wonder how much is scripted, and how much an better stuff is lost as they crack on camera. Set the series link!
