Guys I am currently looking to join the 430 club and need some advice on the above ?

What are the various options and what do you consider to be best for comfort and resale etc ?

I am a slim, small build gent and would currently prefer the proper race seats but they are quite a rare option ( and usually specced as large ) coupled with my other spec requirements. Would I slop around in the "large" seats ? Are there downsides to race seats ?

Should I hold out to get my ultimate spec car with maybe medium race seats or compromise ?

What do you think.

I have electric Daytonas, whilst very comfortable and great looking. They sit far too high for my liking... and I am only 5'8

I kinda wish I would have got the sports seats to be honest.

I agree on the Daytonas feeling like they sit you too high. I'm 5' 11" and couldn't believe the seats were at their lowest with my head feeling so high in the cabin.

Thanks for replies so far. As I thought really. Race seats seemed lower to ground probably as no electric gubbings underneath them and they just feel so much more sporty. Probably aren't as practical with electric or memory etc or maybe not as comfortable but as a dry weekend car when you are out to enjoy the short drive that isn't such a major concern.

Any more views on any of the seats welcome as I'm still undecided as to whether to hold out indefinitely for my ultimate spec choice.

You need to try each seat out. When I was looking at buying one my wife found all the seats very uncomfortable. At first she thought the Sports Seats were OK but after 20 minutes back ache set in. The dealer said that this was quite common especially with the sport seats. I found them perfectly ok. She finds our LP560 ok and also the 458 when we had a test drive in one. So it is very personal. You need to try them all to see which you like best.
