Sat Nav - System May Need Re-Setting

Hi all, I have a 535d coming (2005 model) but I am told the Sat Nav is not working.

Does anyone have any experience/knowledge to the cost of this?

I guess it can be re-set/re-loaded?

Jeez what a risk - depending on what is wrong (failed ccc module, screen damage, water damage via boot, software glitches) you could be looking at anything from £700 upwards to sort this! Who are you buying the car from?

It's via my office and I have not paid for it.

V annoying, so I am popping the car (with the magic key) down to a dealer today to assess.
