In the april issue of CAR magazine the 50th place is occupied by the TVR Cerbera.
Due to the lack of avalability of the magazine my town, I can't seem to lay my hands on the article.
Can anybody give me the text from that article about the Cerbera, so I can report about it in the Dutch TVR Car Club magazine 'Sprintje'?

Thanks VeRy much in advance,

Paul Bastiaansen
Chief editor 'Sprintje'
TVR Car Club Holland.

Why is it cool: It looks like a post op MGB, can out accelerate cars costing six times as muc and yet is completely classless. Simple, effective, huge fun and British to the core.

Bet you didn't know: The Cerbera played a part in the development of the Mercedes SLR McLaren. The layout of the Cerbera meant it made the perfect mule for testing the SLR's 5.5 Litre V8.

Sum up: The first truly quick Trevor.

Hope this helps (and doesn't get Ted in trouble with copyrights)...

Cheers

Flawed for them means there is something to moan about...such as (alleged) higher breakdown frequency, the odd rattle...They want everyday usability paired with weekend thrill...
Well, that is their view, fair enough. They seem to have a much lower boredom threshold than I have...come on, what is so great about a souped up Merc 500? Gets you even faster from A to B in plush comfort..so what? Certainly does not give you the B road fun of a TIV or the "What is that? Sounds fantastic!" reactions from virtually anybody that sees it.

Flawed, maybe..but what a lot of fun...

At least CAR rates TVRs.
Their petty insults would suggest otherwise, up until very recently their reviews in the rear of the mag were just abuse. Their comments on the Tamora typified this, something along the lines of "The best TVR ever...........that's not saying much"

Indeed - and they ran a poor cartoon strip for some months which was not very well disguised knock at TVR, written with little humour and not much artistic skill. Rich...

All these "100 Best" articles are a sure sign the editor didn't have enough copy to fill the magazine. We should treat them for what they are, fun pieces. At least CAR rates TVRs. WHAT CAR doesn't. And EVO thinks they are all "flawed," whatever that means

I'm sure they meant to say "floored"

If that was directed at me I believe I did, I was expressing my opinion and the cartoon was crap and a direct knock at TVR. Rich...
