Obviously I do but I was wondering if there are any folk who consider themselves of Pictish descent on here? I'm trying to get some sort of small organisation together to raise the profile a bit of our heritage here in the north of Scotland.

Just the likelihood that some of your ancestors came from the area of Scotland north of the Forth Valley and east of the Atlantic - North Sea divide!

Don't think so, probably Norse (family all descend from the Outer Hebrides), you're not going to instigate a battle for control of the Scottish forum are you?

Well, if you really want to know, you can do a DNA test that will tell you what your dominant ancestral group is. But if you're family is from the north (especially the eastern area) of Scotland, you are pretty much guaranteed to be largely Pict.
