Need a bit of help from you all
Next year me and the fiancee are planning on going for a drive round Scotland or a week or weekend (funds depending)and im not sure whether to go north, south or west from Aberdeen. We are basicly looking to maybe stop off at random small hotel a night or stay for a couple and set off for another drive. Basicly looking for decent roads and views and maybe some advice on which way to go.
Not exactly the most grand tour and not really a gt car but i think it would be fun and ill be sure to post up the pics smile
Thanx in advance.

Head for the west coast and follow your nose.
Go across to Inverness then down the A9 to Dalwhinnie I think.
Cross country to Spean Bridge then head for Fort William and up to Mallaig.
Stop there for the night then head back down to FW head for Tyndrum across Glencoe.
Turn right at Tyndrum then head for Oban but before you get there, take the turn for Inverary.
Turn left and head along the A83 until you see signs for Dunoon.
Head for Dunoon then get the ferry to Greenock.
Head for Ayr then from there take the A70 through Cumnock to the M74.
(Might be an idea to stop overnight around about this point!)
Head south to to Abington and take the A702 to Edinburgh. (alternatively head further south and take the A7)
Get to Edinburgh and head for the Forth Road Bridge.
Once over the bridge take the coastal route through Anstruther to St Andrews.
Head for the Tay Bridge.
Once in Dundee, take the coastal route through Montrose and Arbroath to Aberdeen.
