Do a search. Been covered dozens of times and all the common issues are well catered for (there aren't many).

Gearbox? Can be a bit stiff from cold (there's a fix - different oil I think). Other than, not really.

That makes a nice change, my last car was a noble gto 3r and there was plenty of faults to look out for!

Does anyone happen to know the exact oil weights recommended? MTL or 75w-90 gear oil?

Different oil and a linkage change IIRC. It should have been done under warranty. The excellent Rick at DMS has a web page on the topic

Do a bit of a read up, then when looking for cars ask the dealer/owner if the list of common stuff has been addressed already. If not, use it as a bargaining chip.

Mine's been very reliable thus far, little niggles aside, and never let me down despite getting used in ALL weathers and being left parked outside much of its life.

And with a Tubi exhaust, the sound is awesome!!

Congrats on the new motor driving

I also came from a Noble 3R (as did a couple of others on here) and the V8V is a revelation in quality in comparison.

Very lucky with the price, needs a sratch on the bumper corner repairing and a mark on drivers seat.
