Cracked a spotlight over the weekend and without the Griff pages I didn't know where to find out what other car its from to source a replacement? Is it a BMW E30 unit?
Also, have done a considerable amount of M'Way driving recently and not been very happy with the feel of the Griff at these speeds. I will go and get my tyres re-balanced as there is more or less constant vibration but the car just doesn't feel comfortable at higher speeds, am I expecting too much from an older car?
It's very recently been serviced, so should have no obvious problems.

Check your tyre pressures with an accurate gauge - get yourself one from Halfords and the like.
I recently checked mine and they were all over the place (and over inflated) - the car was twitchy.
I reduced the pressures to 24psi all round and it made a significant difference.
On the geo set up front - little point in doing this if you have worn bushes and shocks/springs.

I have a digi tyre gauge and checked them the day before yesterday so I know these are fine, 22/24 F/R
I've always felt the springing/damping too soft and this is possibly a big part of it, M'way undulations at speed can feel a little unnerving.
The car is in great shape but AFAIK the springs and dampers are the originals, so may be a little tired, with the bushes, it has been fully looked after by Fernies so I hope there isn't any wear that should have been picked up.
I've googled for that thread and did find one that mentioned a lower lip on Chimps and Griffs, do you know what thread specifically?

Agree with that, the Griffith is very sensitive to tyres & pressures. 
Had the rears changed from Bridgestones to Avons once locally & on the way home I thought they hadn't done the nuts up!!, car was all over the shop. They'd put 32 psi in them. Huge difference when I adjusted the pressure. Still weren't a patch on Bridgestones though.

Vibration is not not right, if balancing the wheels doesn't help (which should be done with wear anyway), could be that one wheel has taken a knock and is out of kilter. My 500 is completely smooth at motorway speeds, i have falcons on the front and toyos on the back but no splitter.
