Blocked at work, any chance of a summary while I muster up the enthusiasm to remember to check it at home later tonight?

Had a quick flick through, its at 17 pages now. What seems to have happened is person had wheels stolen, knew who it was so took them back. Thief then turns up at his door threatening him, smashes his window, runs off and goes to the Police. OP gets arrested for death threats and has been bailed

It seems I have an account - an epic tale.

Wheels stolen, police unwilling to help due to a lack of resources, CCTV shows image of same model vehicle in area just before theft, internet to the rescue and car identified. Car located wearing victims wheels, victim arranges for car to be recovered and leaves a note for thief.

Thief turns up with more wheels to put on car to take home, victim gets wheels back and an agreement is made to pay £1000 to cover damage to vehicle made during theft. Thief fails to make one of the payments, named and shamed on driftworks. Thief is a member of the site and is unhappy now. Thief turns up with friends at house of victim, knocks on door, is sent away, breaks window. Victim runs out with golf club and smashes windscreen of car being used to drive away. Victim is arrested shortly after as thief has reported incident to them. Thief isn't arrested.

Lots of talk about vigilante justice etc and the thief has his name and location put up so others can avoid dealing with him (or locate him). Obviously the name & shame policy here would prevent me doing the same but it's not nice to hear about an "enthusiast" doing this to one of their own but I guess dodgy types live among us on most forums.

Thanks for sharing, an interesting read.
