Chipping an X5 3.0d - inc mpg and performance: Who/where?

Hi All,

I was listening to a London radio station where a caller said his X5 3.0D had been chipped to give c50mpg and 50bhp more for around £600. Is this likely to be true (most interested in mpg which seemed to have nearly doubled).

If so, where's the nearest place to E/London which coud do this?

Have a look at DMS Automotive - they do 2 versions for the 3.0d X5 - 228 or 260bhp upgrade.

I'm looking at getting my 330d done.

Not sure about the increase in MPG though!
