Christmas work do suggestions - London - Restaurant / Bar

Hi Guys,

I need a good recommendation for a decent London Restaurant and Bar for our work christmas do.

About 15 of us and the easiest solution is to choose somewhere that does drinks before and after dinner.

Somewhere like Roka that has a bar downstairs.....

Any ideas welcome!

Budget per head is circa £30 excluding booze.


Central London is a preference but West London upto Hammersmith Area is acceptable.

In the run up to Christmas, most places charge silly amounts. Even the fairly average bars are charging £30-40 for a 3 course meal with 1/2 bottle wine. If you want somewhere fancy like Movida then we were being quoted 3 times that amount.

Last year with my previous firm, we ended up going to Digress on Beak St (though I believe it is called something else now). Food was a little hit and miss, however everybody was served roughly at the same time and good time was had by everybody.

I can also recommend Zebranos on Ganton Street, not had a party or food there, however have had some really enjoyable nights out there in the last few months. Their Xmas menu weighs in at £30 and is the usual sort of fare.
