HID Problem with Side Lights

Hi All
I have today fitted a H4 HID kit which works fine apart from the headlights come on with light switch in just the side light position, they stay on when the light switch is turned to headlights and work fine on dip/main. Only way to have just side lights is with ignition off. Fitting instructions are quite simple to follow ( though obviously not simple enough for me )so I am fairy confident they are wired correctly, has anyone else experienced this with HID's and any clues as to how to sort it?

Yes - In the boot on the light control box you just snip the Black and Red wire. Give me 5 mins and I'll go and double check.

On the Dim/Dip control box - it's on the right side, top of the fuel tank - Just snip the Black/Red striped wire. Looking at the box with the label up, it should be the 2nd from the left. I know it sounds like a wind up, but trust me, thats the fix. A simple snip.

That sounds like something Mrs H said to me a few years ago ( simple snip, that'll fix it!! )
Seriously though thanks JensenA i'll give it a go in the morning.
