Hoping for some advice on a Tamora in ads
Discussion
Sorry to do the whole, lurker comes to board for advice.. but.
In the happy position of looking for a Tamora, I owned a T350, Chimera and S3 before so not new to TVR.
This Tamora caught my eye.

I'm not familiar with the upgrades on this car and was looking for some expert input on their merit.
Upgraded to 4.0L engine.
Red Rose Breaks.
Ohlin Suspension.
Full JP Exhaust system with custom manifold.
Thanks for any advice.
Andrew.

IIRC the previous owner of this car was a member on here. My advise would be speak with Jason at Str8six. If he & his team have had their mits on it then it will have been given a good going over and any issues will have been sorted by or highlighted to the current owner.
Their servicing work is second to none and their attention to detail is absolute. It looks a nice car but as with all Tiv's you need to buy with your head. If it comes with a stack of history and you can establish was has been done recently and anything that may need attention in the future factor this in to the price you are willing to payand get negotiating!

Just did a quick search and found this thread for you. Is this the car/owner?

All the modifications are pretty standard really, you should find out who carried out the 3.6 to 4.0l upgrade. Hopefully it will be str8six or power or someone with similar rep.
The engine probably needed a rebuild anyway so the owner probably wanted to upgrade, as most would.
Upgraded brakes can't be bad, as with the suspension.
The JP exhaust, will be LOUD but that's all part of the TVR experience.

Hi!
it seems that this Tamora (7/2002, 4.0L, grigio titanio, red/black trim) went to Germany where it is currently on sale.
Since I am interested to buy I wonder if anyone has a bit of history of the car.
Unfortunately the seller does not have too much of it from the times before Jan 2011. He also does not have the UK registration to run a HPI check.
Any help, hints, background are highly welcome.

If it were me, I would call Jason at Str8six in the UK and ask him about it before you spend any cash on that car.it seems that this Tamora (7/2002, 4.0L, grigio titanio, red/black trim) went to Germany where it is currently on sale.

This was my car!!
I regretted selling her as soon as I got home.
At the time I had no garage and nowhere to store it...I also had a daily driver.
Now I am back looking for TVR's and my old car is probably out in Germany somewhere
I would love a Sag, but their prices are crazy now...
I no longer need a daily driver and now have a wife to drive me around in the week if needed
Desperately trying to scratch the TVR itch, but cars are just too expensive!! I wish I'd held on to mine.
