What a world of difference!

Cheers Dan!
When Rob R drove mine b4 It was mine he did coment that it was the best and quickest 450 he had tried to date.
It was/is well maintained with all the "might not make it go faster but wont make it slower bits" such as the best plugs/leads/oil. Stepper cleaned every 1000 miles, 98 ron fuel. Also - it is in use EVERY day pretty well.
All down to who built the engine on the day, how it is maintained and general wear and tear I guess.
I'm chuffed anyway.
Coach
PS - Just a thought - things CAN seem a LOT quicker when you arent driving.

I have been out with Coach in my 4.0, and although it is undoubtedly more powerful the difference would not be enough to be megga-noticible. I would therefore put it down to one of three things:
1 - You were a passenger and things seam a little different
2 - You may have a problem with your car
3 - It was Coach's driving and what you were interpreting as more power was in fact FEAR!!!!!
Only joking Coach, your driving is fine (when compared to my wife)

i test drove every engine variety of the Chimaera before buying mine except the 4.3. The 5 litre had a noticeable power gain over the others but the rest were not noticeably faster/slower than each other to the extent I could feel the difference. In fairness, these were all test drives so I wasnt hammering the cars.
