Hi folks,

taking the good lady to see Oliver as a pre xmas treat and wondering if you would make some recommendations for pre theatre dinner

Looking for English/Med style food, somewhere nice with very good food and service but not too OTT an environment (favour comfort over waiters that believe they are god....)

Oliver is at Drury Lane, so somewhere reasonably close would be nice, but not a big deal if not

Also post theatre drinks...any ideas for somewhere a bit special?

We are planning on making an effort dress wise, but not black tie if that has any bearing on options

Cheers

the wharf - at gabriel wharf on the southbank would be my recommendation - only 5 mins walk from Waterloo then take a cab/walk to the theatre?

Good food, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices

Damn, forgot about that.
Call them and explain that you are considering a membership blah blah.
Or try their place at Fitzrovia.
