Jaguar XF Estate

No, it kind of should look like an estate but kinda looks like...

Put your Stevie Wonder glasses away!

Don't you think it looks far better than the M6 drone of the Audi A6? - more attitude, more class, more style? a bit more "pukka Sainsbury's" and Waitrose rather than Aldi?
...and it's British! (sort of)

That's a terrible design for an estate, doesn't look like adults could sit in the back seats.
I agree - I think it's what the black polo necks call a "Lifestyle Estate". I agree the design of the Mondeo estate is very homogenous and "tight" in execution, in fact I think the current Mondeo/Focus are fabulous cars in design and not forgetting the Insignia Estate, wonderful shut lines and stance - very "taut".By the way, I notice I've used the " " several times to describe design -I suppose it's because its an visual expressive way of describing how I would represent the design rather than by using my hand gesticulations - not a contrived contortion of language.
MX7 - I can see where that might be construed to be a better car based upon Customer Service Clinics but it omits the central DNA that is Jag.
I stand alongside a Jag and it tugs, whereas an E Class or A6 leaves me cold - thats the difference.
Maybe it is true that you buy a Merc with your Accountant but a Jag with your heart.
I can see the logic and commercial sense in the "Oh Phil WHY" but doesn't it just end up as a blandmobile? albeit an upmarket one?
Think about the difference between the Pinifarina 456GT Estate and the Subaru Legacy Outback

So does the current XF, and the XJ, but Jaguar changed when they dropped the X308 in my opinion. Now they've got to do something contemporary, and I don't think they are doing a bad job really. I think that a XF coupe/estate will look great, especially in yellow.Gassing Station | General Gassing [Archive] | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

king appalling however.
