Does anyone know the history behind this car?

At the right price it would be tempting as a keeper but I've messaged the seller and to be honest his reply was about as legible as the advert, which is what puts me off. I just can't understand how people can put adverts like this up.
From what I could make out from his response - there is no history for the car (now added to advert) and he has no pictures or evidence of the damage sustained.
Everything points at steering clear of it which is a shame really as it could turn out to be a perfectly OK car.

Know nothing about it, but I do like the colour combo.

Kind of smacks of steer clear to me though, I'd want to go have a look and chat to the owner.

I'd also want to know where he gets the trimming done - he says in the ad you can change the carpet colour for £60 plus £80 labour!

I know! Having had a Chim re-trimmed I did notice that rather optimistic price quoted there!

Finally spoke to the guy! very vague answers to the most simplest of questions, has been off the road for a number of years!

Everyone's right about this one but had the seller spent an hour or so tracing history, photographing damage and getting someone else to write the add then I'm in no doubt he'd make a fair few thousand more. Hey ho, leave him to it and looking at the bidding history I think it'll be re-listed a few hours after the auction end anyway!!

Saw this last week, was one of the first to contact asked for more details and photo of driver side and interior, as he would not put them up I walked, the email I got said to to do a history myself, its either a total dog or a cheap fixer upper, not worth the hassle. Then the first bidder who keeps bidding has no history, something not right there either.

£16150 for that seems like a huge gamble to me. Hopefully it's someone in the know and has bagged themselves a good car......... over priced in my opinion though considering the complete lack of history/knowledge of the car the seller had.

Who would pay that much money to someone who can't even be bothered to run his advert through a spell checker? I hope to god it doesn't back fire on them, I wonder if they'll introduce themselves on here asking where they can get the splitter and roof panels sprayed
