Any Mac OS X users out there?

I am trying to upgrade from Demon dialup to Broadband...I have the Modem etc...anyone done this advise please.

i use broadband with my mac, no probs. it depends on who is your isp. i had blueyonder and had an ethernet modem. my dad has bt adsl and we had to setup a different internet connection as it had to "dial up". i would reccomend you use an ethernet modem so that you will have the option to updgare to a wrieless network (which all need an ethernet modem) .

My parents have an iMac (OSX 10.3) with Demon ADSL, with the USB modem provided by Demon.

Set to DHCP. Enter login/password Demon provide. All just works...
