I'm heading to Barcelona next week and wanted to check out the Rolex prices and potentially purchase a new piece.

Does anybody know whether it's best to try the AD's in the city or do they have a concession at the airport?

Thanks

Unless you get a deal, I have found the UK to be cheaper than across Europe. I was in T1 Heathrow this week and there is a new Rolex AD there (Watches of Switzeland I think) which will offer standard UK price minus VAT. No Subs or GMT's when I looked.

"Duty Free" in Frankfurt they had new ceramic Subs and GMT's in the window for e5,800 and e5,600 respectively. At todays exchange rate that is higher than the high street price in the UK (if you can find them).

I haven't found a decent watch shop in Barcelona. Andorra is not far and you would find pretty much anything you wanted tax free there.

This: http://blogropa.com/tous-abre-un-espacio-rolex-en-... is in central Barcelona and can source even SS Daytona's pretty quickly - at a price.

Thanks for the feedback and help. I had no joy on this trip, prices seemed higher for everything compared to even the UK and definitely higher than the US. The only Daytona I found was nearly £1,000 more than a UK sourced one which already carried a premium.
