OK decision made. What is the best way to sell

After much heart and soul searcing I've reached the decision to sell "Mr Grumpy"!

I know it could well be something I regret but I can always come back at a later time, for now we just need to downsize the fleet.

I need a bit of input on the best way to go ahead with this from those who have done it before.

Pistonheads classifieds would be a good start. Don't think the market is very buoyant at the moment, I know I put my Griff up for sale last year and had very little interest, kept hold of it in the end. Good luck!

getting back to topic, yes p/hds classifieds I think is the best place, anyone serious about a tvr ought to be looking at buying from an enthusiast, somehow ads in autotrader and the like seem to put me off, leave those places for the bmw`s and ford focus brigade.

I advertised mine on PH and via the TVRCC for 2 months. 2 phonecalls and 1 tyre-kicker later, I decided to put in on Autotrader.

It went within 2 weeks.

I was really, really surprised, because I initially agreed with Clive. But for all I can say is that for me, it worked out differently.

Without wishing to sound derogatory Inny, that's the problem with common a garden 4 litres.. Hacks on autotrader and anything with a little 'special quality' on PH would be my view?
