Saw one today at an AD in Luzern and really liked it, before I press the button next week any alternative suggestions? And best places to buy it in UK?

Thanks!

It's a favourite of mine. Really beautiful. Furthermore if Dominic can source one for you deal in confidence with him. Did a recent trade with him for a sub ND. Suspect he may be able to find one at much less than rep! (there's a challenge fOr you Dom!)

Dom H organised a JLC for me quite recently. The deal and the service were both absolutely first class and I would highly recommend giving him a call.

I don't like the way the time fingers are same colour as the face, there is no contrast, difficult to read IMHO.
I think you're right.

I bought a cheapie for boating recently (having lost a Breguet over the side last summer!), and the cheapie has a similar colour scheme - it's actually impossible to read with 'average' eyesight. Looks fine in a high def picture, but confusing on the wrist.

I'm sort of assuming/hoping that a serious JLC (as pictured) would be more readable than the colours might suggest.

Love this watch! Went with a more plebeian "plain" c.2000 Geographic with black face in the end, as I just couldn't get to grips with the silver face.
Was the World Geographic ever made with a black/non-silver face?
