I went to the Top Gear live show yesterday and they showed this clip. They also introduced the 'new' stig. Next series isn't for ages although they did say they are filming an xmas special.

Well to be honest, it could even be the same guy. All top gear have to do is say they have a new test driver, and everyone believes them.

Probably, along with the manufacturer's own test drivers and the fact that they use several drivers as "regular Stigs".

Or shall we try guessing who the new one is for the next couple of years?

I stand by the fact that they did treat Collins badly over the book deal / lack of ability to make more money. They should have just released the book Officially. And I could have done without the team publically slagging him off.

Sadly, his new career on 5th Gear makes me lose a lot of sympathy for him. And his career/workload will slowly fizzle out.

This video is the best way I can think of for them (TG) to come out of this OK. Also keeps the white stig merchandis working.

I have no sympathy for Collins. He signed the contract - end of. Not helped remotely with the way he acted on his first show of 5th Gear.

Love that clip - can't wait for the new series!
