Having to reseal a shower cubicle as it's leaking. Stripped off all the old sealant, but we've noticed there is a large gap between where the shower doors meet the shower tray. Just wondering if there is something else we should seal these larger gaps with before we put the shower sealant on.

Can't afford a new shower room just now due to impending wedding !

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers

Assuming im understanding you correctly.
Nip down to your local window/upvc supplier and pick up a length of http://www.windowparts.co.uk/Window-Quadrant-12mm-... (depending on size of gap)12 or 19mm quadrant, about £2 a length.
Use a quality sanitry silicone, cheap silicone isnt the easyist to gun and finish.
