Guys, according to wedgepages, the outer driveshaft uj's on my series one 350 are Hardy Spicer 163's. (recommended heavy duty with grease nipples).
Contacted my local factor who can source them, but he reckons he needs a size, or the old one to match.
Anyone have a size or know what exactly it is i need to measure, or indeed if it is stamped somewhere??
Also, brake master cylinder repair kit i have a number for (Lucas SP7675), and THINK the cylinder itself is Girling part no74066231.
Anyone bored enough (whilst watchin Brazil) to confirm any of those two????
Thanks in advance

I sooooooooooowanna have the car ready for TITT !!!!!!!

See this thread. My last post confirms the part you need for the 350i. I got it off ebay myself.

I would still recommend measuring the u.j., my 350I has 27mm joints on one side and 30mm joints on the other side, I can only assme it has had a replacement driveshaft at some point...

Not just the driveshaft, the attachment to the disk/diff and the hub would also need to be replaced.

The measurements are; the diameter of the cap. (internal of yoke)
Length from cap to cap, difficult to measure accurately w/o the correct tool.
Width of the yoke minus the depth of the two caps will do.

The reason the guy wants you to measure them is not because they might have been upgraded at birth but because in the cars history it might have been neccessary to fit the "next size up" because the caps were loose in the yoke.

So yoke would have been machined.
