GTO 3R Modifications

I'm looking to buy a GTO 3R (6Sp), I know there's a similar post, but I'm wondering what should I be looking for on these cars in particular?
Am I right in thinking the LSD and the other essential mods are all included in the 3R?
Also I know I should check the chasis and I've also been told it's common for the exhaust mount to break, are there any other common problems on these cars?
Any advice would be appreciated.

For a 3R the answer is no.

Sure there are plenty of upgrades you can do to improve performance, but on the whole if you are not looking to increase the bhp or go hard on a track there is not a lot you need to do.

You might look at improving the head lights, perhaps getting a new oil breather? All the other upgrades seem to be power related.

Were there any changes to the gear linkage in the 3R cars, I have been told that there were some changes before the 2005 cars and there were mark1 and mark2 GTO-3R's????
