Land Rover Discovery problem
Discussion
I have got a 1995 Disco and its totally standard. Today I took it off road for the first time and hand a realy good day and was amazed at what a standard vehicle can do in very boggy and muddy conditions.
After a while there was a knocking from one of the wheels whilst going over bumps but couldnt pin point which wheel it was coming from. Got it home this afternoon and jacked her up.
If ime right in thinking, if you are in lock diff all four wheels are supposed to turn but in this case one wheel wasnt.
Could it be a diff issue or drive shaft.
Hope someone can help.

Lots of things can clonk on a Landy. Broken half shaft or CV joint maybe, but a worn bearing, stone in the disc, missing tooth on the diff, worn bush or lose shock could all be candidates too. After a while there was a knocking from one of the wheels whilst going over bumps but couldnt pin point which wheel it was coming from.
