Yep - after about an 8 month break (had a Tuscan) I'm now a Chim owner again........

Woohooo. Nothing comes close to that V8 sound (IMHO of course)

I'm so happy I could pee (oops)

All I need now is a de-cat and a set of sports exhaust and I'll be sorted

Why the change? (both to Tuscan and back again!)

What was wrong with the Tuscan? If I had a choice between a Chimp and a Tuscan, the Tuscan would win hands down...and I love V8s!

HeyAndy - I think once you've been bitten by a Speed Six the V8s become very appealing again.

I know what you mean Jigs - But I'm also talking about the looks too. For me, a Tuscan is a nicer looking car.

I've decided to jump straight from Wedge and into a Tuscan when I get the cash, though I'd like to have a go in a Griff first if I get the chance before hand.

Not just in 'your humble opinion' mate- many of us need that burble, pop and scream of those unfettered V8 engines to accompany us on our journeys.

I sat at lights on a wide roundabout today on the A41 and watched a 'rarri 355 gun it round. Yes, looked fantasic- but sounded like a Singer sewing machine at full chat! (er, think I'm safe saying that on this forum).

Anyway, well done Plip- just in time for summer, happy motoring!
Kenny.

Why? well, I never had a problem with the S6 (other than little niggles). Was rebuilt last year though before I bought it.

Love the looks of the Tuscan - Love the sound of the RV8 more (S6 even de-catted and with CCC cans doesn't come close)

Ultmately, the V8 motor is better suited to island driving as it's not so manic as a 380bhp monster Tuscan with poor steering lock.

Still fancy a T350 though (but one with a V8 stuffed under the bonnet)
