Hi all, bought myself a Brosley multifuel stove which i am installing in our victorian house. If you have recently installed a stove either with a surround or without, please could you post a picture. I am currently undecided as to whether to have a surround. All things being equal, i wouild love one but finding the correct size and look, for the price i want to pay is more difficult than i thought.

thanks in advance

David

Here are my two burners. The back room is a 'Stovax' installed 7 years ago.

The other room has a 'cheap' tiger wood burner. Infact, i've just lit it

Sorry about the poor quality photo

You should probably say that you own the place, don't you think?

Are you really the MD of Stovedepot? Bit unethical not to state that in your posts if you are - people might conclude that your stoves are so crap that you have to resort to underhand promotion to shift them.

No, Nothing to do with me - that is like saying people might conclude your car is is so crap and that is why you promote it in your profile.

Are you saying that your only connection with stovedepot is as a customer?

Here's a bit more comedy, he starts a thread here asking where to buy a stove, then posts over and over again recommending a place he's found...

550! I can't afford the wood it would take to burn that hot, although I'd be lost without my local supplier wink

Have a Harmony 3 which was in the house when we bought it. Previous owners had burnt all sorts of crap in it which melted the grate and crazed the glass! New grate and glass later and it burns well, but think it needs a rebuild with baffles/seals as it won't stay in. Think there's some air getting in somewhere.

You really don't see any issue with starting a thread asking for advice on where to buy stoves, then posting repeatedly about this 'wonderful' place that you've found without mentioning that you own it?

Does it really need pointing out to you that you're actively trying to mislead people by pretending to be a satisfied customer of your own company?
